We Made It
Wow.
2025 has been one for the history books — that’s for sure.
Yet here we are. We made it, and a brand-new year is before us.
As I step into December, I’m filled to overflowing with the love of God. He provides. He sustains. He loves. He gives peace. And through every twist, turn, high, and low of this year, He has remained faithful.
KA continues to be a bright, shining light in my life. The members, the calls, the growth, the transformations — all of it is life-giving for me in ways I can hardly put into words. This has been a year of many changes… some beautiful, some uncomfortable, all necessary, and all ordained by God.
Now, as we slow down for Christmas — to celebrate the birth of our Savior, gather with our families, and eat all the delicious, rich, fattening holiday food — my eyes are already looking ahead to 2026. We have put so much in place for the new year, and I believe with my whole heart it will be a year of HARVEST.
That is the word God gave me during a LIVE inside the KA community.
When God speaks, I listen.
When He tells me something, I believe it.
So I’m preparing for the harvest — and I invite you to do the same.
A Little Christmas Note
I’ll be honest: consumerism feels sad to me. So often we buy gifts out of obligation instead of joy, instead of love, instead of genuine celebration of the people in our lives.
This year… let’s stop that.
I love giving handmade gifts — okay, mostly food or food-based things because feeding people is my love language. Every year I make traditional vanilla extract and Tennessee honey-bourbon vanilla. I bake sourdough loaves and sourdough “bread flights.” I make limoncello — and this year I added orangecello. (We don’t even drink it, but other people love it!) We’re making homemade sourdough pasta, family-tree plates from second-hand finds, candied pecans, vanilla-bean oil rollers, and a few other experiments.
Everything is made with love.
I enjoy gifting it.
I hope people enjoy receiving it and feel my heart in the giving.
What about you?
What are some of your favorite things to give during the holidays?
What foods do you make only during this season?
In November, I always make pumpkin bread (a family favorite) along with chili and cornbread — this has become an annual tradition. In December, it’s a full-month bake-fest. And yes… I decorate on November 1st so I can have two whole months of Christmas décor and Christmas music.
Looking Ahead
I’ve been working on something special — something I’ll be announcing at the very beginning of the year. I believe many people are missing this particular piece in their lives, and adding it will bring a deeper level of connection to our community.
Stay tuned.
And please help me pray this in.
Merry Christmas, friends.
Thank you for being part of this community, this movement, and this family.
Let’s prepare our hearts — the harvest is coming.
Xoxo
